PechaKucha (Japanese: ぺちゃくちゃ, IPA: [petɕa kɯ̥tɕa], chit-chat) is a storytelling format, where a presenter shows slides and offers commentary about each. The traditional format is 20 slides over 6 minutes and 40 seconds. However, in this class, students will use 15 slides for a total of 5 minutes of presentation time. There will be a PechaKucha associated with each essay. Students will sign up for the PechaKucha presentation topic that interests them; a sign-up sheet will be circulated.
