Is there enough being done in the states and on a Federal level to prevent bullying in the schools? I live in CT and the Sandy Hook tragedy will forever be embedded in my mind. Has enough been done in Connecticut to make sure this never happens again? Why do these things happen more in the USA than any other country?

1. Introduction. This is where you have your statement of research topic (include your

research question in this section) and introduction to the proposal.

2. Literature Review*: Using various sources, write an integrated literature review on

your research topic. In this literature review, make sure you provide conceptualization of

your key term(s) and talk about the contributions of this proposed research (the “so what”

question.

3. Methodology plan*: This is where you talk about your operationalization. Make sure

that you discuss your methods plan in detail. You should talk about the type of data you

will be collecting, how it will be collected, what sort of sampling you will use, and how

you plan to analyze the data.

4. Ethics statement: Briefly discuss what sort of risks, ethics considerations you will

consider and how you plan to deal with them.

5. Statement of limitations: Briefly discuss anything that the research plan will not be

able to cover. This doesn’t mean that you are admitting that the research plan is flawed;

it means that you’ve considered the decisions that you are making in your research plan

and what is feasible for this proposed research.

MAKE SURE:

You need at least 4 academic sources. This is particularly helpful in the literature review. You should also utilize the information (and use proper citations) from the text.
