2. Do you agree those components are the most important? if not explain why and state which component you feel is more important than the one you are challenging. 

Three components of a high quality program that I feel are most important to me are low child to teacher ratios, the daily curriculum, and the teacher’s qualifications in regards to education. A low child to teacher ratio will be beneficial to the students because the teacher will be able to focus and provide much more attention to the class. Meanwhile in a large classroom setting the teacher will be unable to provide one on one attention. This is important to me because it is essential that each child receive the same level of education. It is important for teachers to provide help when the students need it. In addition, the daily curriculum is an important component of a high quality program because it demonstrates that the students are being provided with the correct level of education. It is imperative that students are learning information that is required at their grade level. This is important to me because students must learn what is required at their grade level in order to move on to the next level. This will also prevent students from being behind in regards to their education. Moreover, a teacher’s qualifications are an important component of a high quality program because it will affect the students learning. For instance, it is important that a teacher have the qualifications that are necessary in order to teach. This does not only include having a degree but also having experience teaching. This is important to me because the students will learn more.

These components affect a child’s growth, development, and their overall experiences because they will affect a child’s future choices. For instance, if a child has the motivation and perseverance to succeed he or she will be much more willing to encounter obstacles. By having a small student to faculty ratio, the proper curriculum, and qualified teacher’s the students will be provided with the best education possible. This will encourage them to continue their education and seek a higher degree.

It would affect the quality of the program to remove one of the components I chose because in order for a student to succeed he or she must have the basic foundation that will help him or her move on to the next level. For instance, if I were to remove the daily curriculum this will affect the learning outcomes of all the students in the class because they will not be learning what is required of them at their grade level. This will put the students behind even if they had a small student to faculty ratio and the teacher’s qualifications
