Response

A co-worker sends you a business-related email about the new project assignment. The email has numerous grammar and spelling errors. His language is confusing and you are not certain what the message is stating. You bring up the issue and he responds disgruntled and angrily stating that it was only an email and you are overreacting. By utilizing the concepts from the readings for this unit, how would you appropriately respond to this situation as a professional?

I want to make sure that I understand the email my co-worker sent. Instead of stating that his language is confusing and not certain what the message is stating. Instead I would approach it in an email by replying back just want to clarify a few things in the email you just sent. At times how you approach something gives you a better outcome. The email should have correct grammar and spelling, but the last thing I would want to do is offend someone else.

I can also speak with him and make a connection by being supportive. He might be struggling when composing an email and he may need some assistance. I can let him know if he needs any help I can help him. This will help our work relationship and make a connection and it will allow us to work well together.
