In this workshop discussion, you’ll be posting a draft in Week 6 and providing feedback to three classmates in Week 7. Post your draft, but I want you to also post two or three questions for your readers. Be specific. What questions do you have about your draft? What do you want to know? What are you least confident about? What do you like the best?
When you provide feedback to three classmates, you need to provide your overall feedback as well as address their 2-3 questions. I am leaving the feedback guidelines intentionally wide open. Most of you are providing stellar feedback to each other. Remember — you are being graded on the feedback you give. The more the merrier. Don’t be bossy — be thoughtful and generous.
Post of a draft of your short story for the fiction assignment along with your workshop questions by Sunday, February 21 (Week 6) at 11:30 pm ET.
Post your feedback to three classmates by Thursday, February 25 (Week 7) at 11:30 pm ET. This gives you time to revise and use the feedback before you submit your story for a grade at the end of Week 7.
