The unique transition from military to civilian culture can manifest itself in numerous ways, such as injury, not being promoted, or a military member’s civilian job no longer being available. The transition can be voluntary or non-voluntary. No matter the circumstances, there are varying factors to consider when working with this transition and how it affects the military member as well as his or her family. In this Discussion, you consider the different ways one can transition from military life to civilian life.To prepare for this Discussion, review the required readings this week.
