The unique transition from military to civilian culture can manifest itself in numerous ways, such as injury, not being promoted, or a military member’s civilian job no longer being available. The transition can be voluntary or non-voluntary. No matter the circumstances, there are varying factors to consider when working with this transition and how it affects the military member as well as his or her family.
