Objective
I want to be a Train Master/Road Forman (operation supervisor) at a respectable railroad company in the United States and excel in this field with hard work, perseverance, and dedication.
Summary
I am a railroad engineer with more than 19 years of experience in the railroad industry. I have strong knowledge not only in railroad engineering but also other job roles in the industry that I have built through the years. Because of my experience, I am very efficient and attentive to detail and I also have great leadership skills due to being in the military for 19 years and current. Therefore, this enables me to work well in teams and also lead. I am always committed to the work that I undertake and always make sure that it is completed in good time and in perfect quality.
Experience
Locomotive Engineer, 2006-Present
As a locomotive engineer, my main job role is operating the Locomotives and safe handling of the cargo. Aside from acting as the Engineer there are various other roles that I performed. Jobs and responsibilities are as follows.
· Ensuring job safety briefing is giving
· Making sure that the locomotives are in good conditions before they leave the station
· Check the route, bulletins, and the schedule information of the train to ensure that it is always in the right destination at the right time
· Take care of the cargo in the locomotive to ensure that they get to their destination safely
Brakeman and Conductor, 2004-2006
For these roles, I worked in the safe handling and proper positioning of the consist in the train. The following are the main roles and responsibilities of the job.
· To act as the assistance of the locomotive engineer by letting them know of any information that can help to minimize hitches during the journey
· Ensuring proper safety briefing is conducted
· Inspecting rail road cars for defaults
· Placing and identifying Hazardous Material in the consist
· Identifying and relaying rail road signals
Field Foreman, 2000-2004
The main roles of this job were as follows;
· To act as the intermediary between the laborers and the company’s management
· To act as the supervisor of the railroad workers
· To make sure that all the workers receive their payment on time
· To ensure that all the equipment is well-taken care of and stored in the right place once the day’s service is completed
· To ensure that work is done efficiently at all times
· To communicate the needs of the laborers to the management of the company and follow up to ensure that the company responds appropriately
Railroad laborer, 1998-2000
The following were my roles and responsibilities as a railroad laborer
· To place ties and joint bars during the construction of new railroads
· To take care of the repair of the damaged railroads
· To trim bushed around the railroad to facilitate the movement of the trains
· To install of replace track switches when they are damaged.
· To perform any other handy-work according to the instructions of the supervisor or foreman.

Hobbies and interest
There are a lot of activities that I like to participate in on my free time. I like to play chess and collect coins when I am alone. But most of the time I prefer engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, camping and playing soft ball with my family. I also participate in some social volunteer work in a retirement home and adult day care center. This is my wife’s career field. She is the activity director of an adult day care center called Home Sweet Home. She has me go in my military uniform occasionally, to participate with the elderlies and I tell you it’s a blast.
