New Jim Crow, Alexander, English presentation help

  1. Read your assigned texts for your presentation.
  2. Take copious notes on theories and concepts using the worksheets in the Critical Reading folder.
  3. Do a Google search and select relevant images and video for your PowerPoint slides.
  4. Develop a PowerPoint Presentation with five-six slides unless otherwise instructed: a) part one provides an overview of the theories and concepts presented in your readings; b) part two provides possible application of these theories and concepts. Your presentation will be at least 15 minutes, but no longer than 20 minutes.
  5. Provide at least one open-ended discussion question for the class involving a theory or concept that you mastered (post-presentation).
  6. Provide at least one open-ended discussion question for the class involving a theory or concept that you do not understand–something that confuses you or evokes a negative emotion (post-presentation).
  7. Provide a references page or works cited page with all of your material you used (including images and video) or consulted, along with a 100 word abstract (summary of the presentation).
  8. Post the slide-show, abstract, criical reading worksheets and references page/works cited page to the group assignment link located in the Group Folder provided on Blackboard or located in the group assignment folde
