Identify ethical issues and specify how they will be addressed
Describe proposed outcomes (social program) or expected results (applied project) & discuss directly how these outcomes/results will be used to address your social problem
Identify strengths and limitations of your program/project
Discussion Section
Recap your general topic and the social problem you addressed (including the importance of addressing this topic/social problem).
Briefly recap the historical roots of your topic in the field of psychology.
Review the major themes drawn from your literature review of two (or three) sub-disciplines of psychology (cite literature here and clearly provide evidenced-based justification for your conclusions).
Identify inconsistencies and gaps in the literature on your topic and describe how your proposed applied research project/evidence-based social program addressed them.
Discuss the strengths and limitations of your applied project/program. In terms of strengths, describe what contribution your project/program has made to the original social problem, the discipline of Psychology and to people in general. Be sure to address what makes your project/proposal unique.
Identify next steps for researchers in your topic area (next steps for future research).
